Q: I need some photographs taken for my business, how much do you charge?

I have packages for businesses, catering for all budgets. My best value package – Scale up – includes four shoots over one year, allowing you to spread out payments and build a fully up-to-date photography library that showcases your evolving brand over the seasons. My smaller packages are perfect for one-off shoots and start-up businesses.

I can also arrange bespoke packages and work on shoots of any length. Please talk to me about what you require.

Q: I need some photographs taken at an event or conference, how much do you charge?

I charge by the hour. As every assignment is different, I offer a free consultation to discuss your requirements and will provide a quote based on this.

Q: I know I need some photos and videos taken but I’m not sure what I need – I’m not very creative! Can you help?

Absolutely! I’ll work with you to form a brief and a shot list. If you need some inspiration, I’m on hand to help advise both before and during the shoot. I have lots of experience so I know what does and doesn’t work.

Q: Do you have a studio?

I have a mobile studio, so all shoots are carried out on location or at your place of business. If you require product and flat lay imagery, this can either be done on location with you or I can do this remotely from my office studio.

Q: How many photographs will I receive?

The amount of images you receive varies significantly depending on the length and content of the shoot. During the initial consultation we’ll discuss your brief and work out what the shoot entails, so I can advise on the amount of time needed, or the photography package that will best suit you.

For events, the amount of images will depend on the shots you require and the length of the event – we’ll discuss this beforehand.

Q: How do I book?

Once you’ve agreed to my quote I’ll require a 50% booking fee to secure the date. The remainder is due once the shoot has taken place and your images have been processed – the images will then be delivered.

Q: What if I need to cancel or postpone?

The deposit you pay is non refundable to cover the cost of reserving the date – depending on the notice given, there may be another fee added as well. This will be in your terms and conditions when booking. I may be able to transfer your deposit to another date if you’d prefer to postpone, depending on my availability.

Q: Where do you work?

I mainly work in London and across the South East. I’m also happy to travel further afield and often work in other parts of the UK. I’ll be happy to discuss your requirements and make travel arrangements.

Q: What is the copyright on my images?

I retain the copyright to photographs that I take, but please don’t worry about this – it’s standard practice with photographers. You’re free to use your images however you like, as much as you like, across your website, social media channels, marketing materials, or anywhere else. You just won’t be able to sell them on, as they don’t come with a re-sale license.

Q: Why should I use a professional photographer?

Professional photography is invaluable in promoting your business. Quality photography contributes to your professional persona and creates a much more personal image than stock photography, helping you build your reputation and grow your business. Images can say so much more than words and clients will make an instant judgement about your business based on your website, social media profiles and marketing materials.

Q: Do you offer wedding photography?

I don’t offer wedding or family photography – I specialise in offering photography services for businesses and events.

Q: What types of photography do you offer?

I am a business and events photographer. I offer:

  • Lifestyle photography
  • Corporate photography
  • Headshots and portraits
  • Product photography
  • Flat lays
  • Branding imagery
  • Property and interior photography

I work to your brief and create bespoke sets of images, so if you need something specific from your shoot, please just ask!

Q: Are you insured?

Yes – I have public liability cover and can provide an insurance certificate where required.

Q: Will we get to meet before I go ahead with the booking?

Of course! It’s important we get to talk – photography is a very personal thing and you need to be happy with your decision. I offer free consultations before booking, arranged to be as convenient as possible. This means we can talk on the phone, have a video call, meet at your office or chat over a coffee.

Q: How long does it take to receive my photographs?

As standard practice, all photographs will be delivered within 10 days, but if you have tighter deadlines, please do talk to me. Event organisers in particular are often working to short timescales and I can accommodate your requirements. I can also provide reactive photography during your event for live marketing, press coverage and social media.

Q: Will you travel to me?

Yes. I mainly work in London and across the South East, but I can travel anywhere!

Q: Do you carry back-up equipment?

Yes – all my photographs are backed up, and I always have a second camera body and a range of lenses with me.

Q: How are my photographs sent to me?

All photographs are sent digitally and you will also have your own online gallery.
